The "Corsair" is an Elan 36 model.

Jolie Brise is a gaff-rigged pilot cutter built and launched by the Albert Paumelle Yard in Le Havre in 1913 to a design by Alexandre Pâris. After a short career as a pilot boat, owing to steam replacing sail, she became a fishing boat, a racing yacht and a sail training vessel. The annual "round the island" race saw an entry of 1,117 yachts the 2022 race. From the total of 1117 that reportedly started, 903 finished the race while others retired and some disqualified.

The Photo Training Assignment was to shoot a portrait into the Sun. I played around in post editing software and rather liked this effect.
