I would agree with Patrick on the ID...........it's a difficult one though as I can only find pictures of it taken looking down on the upper side of the wings.

You've done a super job capturing this shot TOZ.....I'm guessing it was on a window pane?

A great find here apparently looking up through glass. Ni idea to what it is though. A moth - I suspect :) Well done.
