A visit to Peak rail for a ride on a train, setting off from Rowsley south to Matlock. D7659 is the final locomotive built by Beyer Peacock at Gorton Works in Manchester, D7659 saw 20 years of work with British Railways mostly in the Midlands and North West and also with service in Wales and Scotland and some summer holiday specials to Norwich during the 1970s.This image sees her arriving at Matlock for our half hour trip back to Rowsley south.
