Die Ahr, vier Tage vor der Flut
Bereits vor der Flut waren Wasserstand und Fließgeschwindigkeit der Ahr deutlich höher als normalerweise im Sommer - Ergebnis eines verregneten Frühlings und Frühsommers. Im Bild sieht man auch einen der Faktoren, der wenige Tage später eine schicksalhafte Rolle spielen sollte: Totholz.
