Such a tranquil looking scene Anton..........the pilgrim is perfectly placed in the frame encouraging us to "walk" with him. The paving on the roadway makes some nice leading lines too.

The detail throughout this scene is excellent, especially when viewed large (when you can also see the person sitting on the bench). I also like the old fashioned wall lamps and street lights.

I think this works perfectly in black and white. Beautifully composed and exposed.
