The composition, the depth of field, the background, the exposure/lighting, the color specifications, the type of table, the style of the tableware and the candle, a prompt for each of the ingredients — these are the basic details. There are more details that I don't want to list individually here, as I would like to leave room for the imagination of others who would like to try their hand at creating their own AI-generated images.

I certainly didn't expect you to give away all the details, but you have definitely answered my question - you put in lots of details! I've only done a very tiny amount of playing around with creating an image using programming. Not really my forte - I am more of a finder than a creator. But I really appreciate those who can do it so successfully.

I think I'm going to spoil the mood a bit.
AI makes it possible to produce some very beautiful images
BUT...
A photo and a hyper-realistic painting are two different things, a photo is a photo and a painting is a painting, that's obvious to everyone.
For me, there are just as many differences between a photo and an AI image.
It's just ‘something else’!
But ipernity is a site for photographers, so I wonder if it's the place for these creations, however interesting and pretty they may be.

I appreciate your objective discussion of AI-generated images and agree with you about the visual differences. However, I would like to point out that ipernity has always been a platform for artists of all kinds to enrich ipernity with their contributions. Our CEO, William Sutherland, takes up this fact in his appeal, "1) Statement from our Club President about AI images", which I recommend to you and all opponents of AI-generated images, i.e., digital art, to read.

Furthermore and finally … both photographs and AI-generated images are essentially and in detail produced by digital media and human inspiration. Unlike paintings and photographs, current knowledge shows that there are certain similarities that cannot be denied.

This should not be taken as dogma, but as a stimulus for further own reflections.
