in flood the water will sometimes reach to the body of the trap...a bridge should be provided
for vehicles as well as foot passengers...
Jan 1904 new bridge completed and opened for public use by the Chairman TA Hawkins, the engineer being
HW Whitehead, and contractor CJ Nevitt . Cost £534 and is 15 feet wide. Stood test of 25 tons…
