When in El Calafate we visited the Laguna Nimez reserve, which concentrates a varied sample of local wildlife. This ecological environment lodges an educational circuit with trails and signposts laid up along over 2,500 meters. The reserve has good vantage points that enable visitors to watch flamingoes, geese, silvery grebes, black-necked swans, ibis, lapwings, ducks, coots, hawks and chimangos, among other 70 species.

Off the coast of Paimpol is Ile Bréhat, one of Brittany’s loveliest islands. In fact, Bréhat consists of several islets around two small, car-free islands, which are joined by a bridge at low tide.

Val Ferret is the name of the two separate valleys, departing from the Col Ferret on the border between Italy and Switzerland, on the southern and eastern sides of the Mont Blanc Massif. HFF everybody! :-)
