Stourhead October 2013

I wondered if and when you might be posting some of your beautiful autumn photos of Stourhead, dear Nick. I don't think I've seen this before though.

I had some time at the weekend to review some of my old files dear LGM, I have so many and they are not particularly well labelled just numbers, which means that you have to open every folder to get an idea of what might be in it . London buildings occupy a lot of course. The temple is a bit bleached here I think, it is difficult to get the balance right ~ so yes probably not uploaded to Pano in the past ~ Thanks for your compliments x

I remember in the 1960's it was open to anyone free of charge from November to March.

Wow that is nice of you to write Rosa, unfortunately I'm no longer able to drive long distances by myself. In the past I always used to get up really early and drive down to Stourhead getting there before the crowds did or even before the staff got there. The little gate was always open. Isobel does not like early starts :~) My heart still lies down in this area of Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire and the greater area of Wessex.

Sorry to hear that Nick. I can see Isobel's point ;-) I see though from your pictures, you have so many beautiful locations in your area, and of course there is still Gosport/Portsmouth.

Hi Steve, thanks for your praise and Y*. I wonder too, I've rather last track of what is going on, but happened to look at my old google account yesterday and everything still seems to be there.

I seem to remember registering for Google plus but haven't a clue now as to my password or anything else.

When you think of all the work we all put in it seems a shame but there you go. Nothing stands in the way of Google's so called progress (Which of course is always awesome)

The world is saturated by pictures now and phones seem to be the medium most use now too.

Well we had some fun along the way.

We had glorious weather, but the autumn colour hadn't arrived unfortunately. Also there was far too many people enjoying a warm autumn Saturday, so I didn't click the shutter very often. This scene is what I wanted to see, Nick.
