D'Alcantara sounds southern Europe but the fine architecture looks northern Europe!

Same place and same time!
We were walking this nice street...then you have noticed the fence round the hole at the street, and i too noticed the big red flower pot at that moment... So we have two different pictures from same place this week! How nice to share this kind of pictures!

In fact this hole has been in the road for ages, but no sign of it being repaired. Inside the hole is a big steel plate covering something (pipes?) but so much soil and weeds on it I have no clue.
