Bench, beer bottle, tree and wall at Rochlitz

Ach was, in Rochlitz warst Du auch? Der Weg zu mir nach Hause wäre nicht weit gewesen. Ungefähr so 40 km. Ich habe mich schon über das "Freiberger" Bier gewundert. Sich hast Du auch die Alte Bahnbrücke über die Zwickauer Mulde fotografiert und das Schloß Rochlitz besucht. :-)

You can now see from the map that this bench is right next to the river and castle. I do have a photo of the bridge from almost this same spot. We didn't visit the castle here, but did visit Colditz, which is more relevant to the English.
We had also considered Chemnitz, but the railway museum there was closed for the winter.

PS, not our beer bottle, we found it there! (Look carefully, it has snow on it too!)

And Sherlock Holmes would also find out, that there is no snow
under the bottle, so it was standing there for long :-))

Ja, das Schloß in Colditz war im 2. WK Gefangenenlager für alliierte Offiziere. Das Schloß kenne ich schon, aber in dem Museum war ich noch nie. Das hat aber damit zu tun, daß ich ganz allgeimein nicht unbedingt ein Freund davon bin durch Museen zu wandern. In der Gegend arbeite ich auch ab und zu, aber in Rochlitz selbst und Colditz war ich schon länger nicht. Maximal durchgefahren.

Ja, die Bierflasche, Peter. Deswegen ist mir das Bild überhaupt aufgefallen. Ich dachte: "Oh, das Etikett kennst Du doch!" Freiberger Bier, eine Brauerei hier in der Region. Was die Flasche betrifft, man glaubt gar nicht wie achtlos diese Pfandflaschen einfach stehen gelassen werden. Gerade auch in den Städten und vor allem in der Nähe von Bahnhöfen oder Haltestellen von Bus und Straßenbahn. Ich meine, 0,08 Cent sind nicht viel Geld. Aber wenn jemand so eine Münze auf der Straße findet, würde er sie doch auch aufheben. Auf unserem Arbeitstransporter haben wir immer eine leere Flaschenkiste stehen. Es sind keine Unsummen, aber ein Kaffee an der Tankstelle springt schon mal raus. ;-) Einmal haben wir sogar an der Bahn einen kompletten Kasten inklusive Leergut gefunden. Wie auch immer der da hin kam. Muß man sich schon wundern. :-)

Oh yes we saw this bench while we were walking on this road right next to the castle... and the beer bottle standing there...
We don't know who sat there...probably a sad person...
