Old Mill and Black Dike

Old Mill and Black Dike
The Old Mill is the large building to left of centre. At one time it was a watermill fed by the river Nene.
It is privately owned.
The building on the right used to be a windmill, but I have no more information on it.
As for the 'Black Dike', (the little watercourse), I have no idea, but I am sure it was given the name before the current days of woke!

A really nice shot here Peter, lot to see and thanks for the info. I like how the sun is shinning on the farther part of the scene, and closer to us is the shadow.... well captured Peter.

I'm happy that you had a good look!!
It was a very hot day, but some white fluffy clouds did come and go, hence the shadow.
While the watermill on the left is well maintained, the old windmill on the right is beyond help, I think!
