Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Jaap van 't Veen clubI did try to let the shape of the sculpture echo the shape of the bridge, just as the sculptor intended. Glad you like it!
Best wishes
Peter

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteI must say that I did take quite a few shots as I walked over the bridge and back again. It was only when I got to the far side that I realised about the sculpture! Glad you like the effort applied here!
Best Wishes
Peter
What a lovely bridge. I really like the new designs we are seeing at the moment and I suppose since the turn of this century! A very nice shot.
Best wishes, Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneYour visit here is most welcome. Thank you!!!
There is supposed to be a lot of significance to the way the bridge curls, and the two halves meet in the middle. For me, I was happy to get the sculpture, bridge and guildhall to line up properly!
Best Wishes
Peter
