Well taken indeed
Best wishes ... Steve
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteThank you so much. A castle I have been past so many times. The best views are from this side of the river, so I am happy that you like the one I chose.
Best Wishes

Best wishes, Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn Hilborne clubThank you so much, I am so pleased that you enjoyed Caernarfon.
Obviously the castle has done its job, and withstood many an onslaught, (well not so many, being so far from England). Of course there are so many other wonderful castles very close to here, did you visit then too? Beaumaris, Conwy, Harlech, Criccieth ...

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubWe visited Beaumaris Castle but not the others you mention. Two days were taken up with steam train voyages which was really enjoyable. We have friends in Wales and stayed with them earlier this year and will do again next spring. They have got some trips organised, so really looking forward to that!!
Best wishes, Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to David G Johnson clubThank you for the kind words!!
As I mentioned on a couple of other posts, living there has its advantages!
Best Wishes
Peter
