Hello dear Steve, yes indeed, the insurance rates "gonna" surely increase :) That dark car there with that door opened was at fault ! He ran out in front of the white SUV on its top. It looks quiet here at this intersection, BUT that's misleading., ITS SO busy here, but all traffic had been stopped way back up these streets... we parked up this way and I walked to get this shot.

Hello John, not sure what our law enforcement calls this :))) I'll ask our youngest son, he would know, he's a Captain in out Sheriff's office. Id say this is a crash, but the one at fault here (in the small dark car) would most likely call this an accident....thing is he was speeding down that hill there and caused this wreck / crash / accident? :)

Nice photo, and the white SUV looks like a write off.. But I do wonder how, in a residential area, the SUV ended upside down if they were obeying the speed limits. Maybe more to this than meets the eye.
As the Highways professional here, I can definitively say we use the word 'Collision' and not accident, or crash! I think I might have told you the story before as to why it got changed..

Hey Peter, thank you. This site is at the end of a residential section and at that intersection there some idiot decided he would pay no attention to the stop sign NOR speed. SOOO he Collided into that older, rather small SUV. there where you see those trees are at the end of a lovely residential section of our town and here behind me begins a business section of town. all traffic has been stopped out of camera range.
