One of the joys of teaching Business English is the early start of a morning! Top executives want to have their classes between 7 and 8:30. I do sometimes get to see sunrises in compensation!

Yes, I have posted one or two similar scenes from this vantage point but I make no excuses for posting one more!

Crane Castle was an Iron Age (possibly older) clifftop fort and settlement. It has fallen into the sea over the centuries and I am standing on what would have been the landward battlements. Maybe another 200 years before it falls away completely?

Whether it's a Shetland pony as all the notices say, or not, has been discussed at length on Panoramio. I still don't know!. I can't get local people to confirm either. People say it is too big to be a Shetland. I should put this question on Rene's new group! Perhaps I will!

La Bola del Mundo in the Sierra de Guadarrama from El Pardo, northwest of Madrid. This mountain was thought at one time by the residents of Madrid to be the highest mountain in the world! It isn't even the tallest mountain in the Sierra de Guadarrama! (Z please!).
Photo taken in May 2013, regardless of the exif date!
La Cabrera granite. PLEASE STAY, DON'T RUN AWAY!!!

Even the out of bounds and long decommissioned nuclear research station of Nancekuke seen on the horizon at far right can't much detract from the scene.
