I don't know the answer except to say I have occasionally seen spring wildflower meadows in the UK, just like this, but I agree they are becoming less and less common, sadly.

When I took this shot 11 years ago, I actually had the full time use of my niece's car for a year while she was in Florence on an Erasmus course. I have realised that this was the last time I drove regularly. Now I can't get a Spanish or British driving licence (I need both) thanks to the horror that is Brexit! And my health and eyesight have deteriorated since Covid so I can't pass a test now in either country anyway!. GRRR!

I have refrained from airing my views on Brexit here on ipernity, Reinhard as there are a few British members who jump on any (even mild) criticism of it. No point in turning a friendly site into a battleground, so I don't bother. But I think you can guess my views from the tone of some of my comments!

Such a wonderful wildflower meadow.................I especially like the poppies, which always show up well. Beautifully composed and taken Andy.

As to your missing group - at the top of your screen ( just to the right of the IP logo) there should be a box for doing a search. Enter the name of the group you're looking for and chose Groups from the category. The search will bring up a list of associated groups. You can then see if your group still exists and a selection of alternatives you might want to join. Hope that makes sense:-)

I looked but couldn't find it anywhere, Keith. That is strange because it was touted as a new group and this was only a few weeks ago. I added my daily max (3 photos) when I joined and checked later and saw that they were there.
Now I have looked at all groups with 'cloud' in the name to see if I have misremembered the name of the group. But my photos don't appear in any of them, so it woud seem that the new group has been removed for some reason.

I think the Admins have been having a "tidy up" of the groups........there were quite a few with no one in charge and lots that hadn't been added to for ages I believe. Perhaps your one fell victim to this.

You can always use the Help and Contact link at the bottom of every page and ask the Admins.

What a beautiful place Andy and I adore the wildflower meadow. Super composition and a great sky. Delightful and best viewed large, as you say.

That is beautiful Andy. The wild flower meadows around here have been beautiful this year. I haven't seen many poppies yet though...except the annoying Welsh poppies in my garden!!

It seems likes a nice group and I will join it but it's a complete mystery to me!
The group was simply called 'Clouds' and was new. I was invited to join and so I did and contributed my 3 daily max photos. Then when I went to add another a few days later, I couldn't find it for love nor money!
It's not the first time it has happened so it's probably me who is jinxed here!
