Andy Rodker club has replied to Malik Raoulda clubAndy Rodker club has replied to John FitzGerald clubI wonder if the blue bands are algal coatings? The rocks appear to be grey fine-grained muddy sitstones with thin pale sandstone laminae. It is possibly significant that the blue layers are confined to the mud-rich layers, which might offer more nutrients?
