This scenery is incredible Andy - so dramatic and obviously a great place for walkers.

The only guide book in English (from the early 90s) says that the summit from here is only 25 minutes away! Either the author was a world champion fell-runner or it was a colossal misprint, I don't know. But 25 minutes, my arse!

Great signpost..............and much better than wood, which will rot away or fall over! I like the lavender and the other wild flowers too.

So I don't do it!!
I go up from the other side, and if time permits, I descend in a leisurely fashion to this point. (Although normally I then have to hot-foot it smartish around the flank of the mountain to catch the last bus back to Madrid!)
