HFF everyone! Valdemanco with Cancho Largo rising above it.
The village of Valdemanco is my usual starting point for walks in La Sierra de La Cabrera. It's the end of the bus route too.(Madrid is one hour 20 minutes away by bus but less than 30 minutes by car! This is because the bus stops at all the small villages on the way).
Ecobird, Rosalyn Hilborne, Ronald Losure, Roger (Grisly) and 23 other people have particularly liked this photo

Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubThe building on the left is the side of the church at Valdemanco. I wanted to go in and have a look around. but on the many times I have walked past here since this photo was taken, it has always been locked.

HFF and a nice weekend Andy.
Wish you a marvelous HFF and weekend:)
HFF, have a great weekend. Herb
I really like this scene.. The mountains look inviting!
I know exactly what you mean about busses, and people wonder why everyone chooses to take their own cars!!!
The answer is simple.. Ensure a practicable alternative to the car exits, and you will solve the congestion and pollution problems!
Best Wishes, HFF, and a good weekend
Peter
