I don't mind the thick overhead cable. It gives balance to the composition and reminds us that this is a modern business and modern lives are lived here (it was a relief to get a mobile signal though, a few years ago!)

Roger (Grisly), , Diane Putnam, Fred Fouarge and 21 other people have particularly liked this photo

I understand what you say about the power line, I would have tried to remove it, I suppose it depends on wether you want to record it accurately or create an illusion, with or without it's a wonderful view Andy

Thanks Peter.
It actually depends on my mood. I swing one way and then other on such issues. On another day I would have found this in my archives, seen the cable and said to myself; 'no, not for posting'.
Anyway, I have no means of removing it!

MY tent was planted in this field in the summer of 1978 when I worked at the Gurnard's Head Pub! The cows knocked it down only once so I reckon I was lucky!

These are all milking cows. When I was closely connected to here, the farmer's daughter (whom I fancied something rotten), got them all in for milking at 6 in the morning, and the same again at 6 in the evening.

Quite a few overhead cables in front of my house Andy, which I never mind until I try to get a good sunset, then they spoil it! I like your picture though :)

I love the cows! It's kind of useless to be mad at power lines. for the first time, ever, I used the "clone" thing to erase a power line that genuinely ruined a nice tree. I was thrilled, once I figured out the method. I wouldn't try it with anything solid (sky, water, etc.) in the background, though.

I invite you to enlarge this tree and see if you can find where a thick, white cable used to be:
