Long Way Down IX
Navrax Point, Godrevy, Cornwall. I may have posted this before but a quick search suggested not. Apologies if it has in fact slipped beneath the radar!

Andy Rodker club has replied to Sarah O' clubPlease bear with me while I explain something!
When I was a child and all my friends, as well as my brother and sister, were climbing trees, doing cartwheels and generally being carefree and exuberant without a thought to risk and danger, I was the opposite. I had a strong imagination and always feared the worse. But I realised this had to be conquered and the opportunity arose when I was paired with a French lad (on a school exchange programme) aged 13. His brother, aged 24, was a seriously good rock-climber and he asked me if I wanted to learn to climb. Every sinew in my body and neuron in my brain screamed out NOOOO! But I bit the bullet, found that I got a great adrenalin rush and I conquered my general nervousness and fear of heights!
However, I retained a crucial respect for risk and danger!!!! I don't go where I can't easily retrace my steps!
HANWE to you too! :o)
