Pony on Treaga Hill, Portreath

Whether it's a Shetland pony as all the notices say, or not, has been discussed at length on Panoramio. I still don't know!. I can't get local people to confirm either. People say it is too big to be a Shetland. I should put this question on Rene's new group! Perhaps I will!

I have some photos of Dartmoor ponies and they are very different, Nick.
I really would like to know the answer. I suspect they really are Shetland ponies , ... just grown fat on better southern grass and weather!!!

Doug, five years of uncertainty and I will grab at straws, So, yes. It is; as all the signs say, a Shetland pony.
I forget who the naysayers were on Pano, some are here on ipernity. But I will call them Shetland ponies from now on!. Enough is enough!
