Nicole,
Many thanks!
Fred,
Thank you both!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubThis rather small castle dominates the landscape around Redruth and Camborne. Alleged to be a restaurant but although the signs are there, I've never seen it open, in the 20 years I've walked round there. It was explained to me many years ago that it is owned by a chef from Hungary (?) who opens it for his friends when he is in cooking mood. I don't find that easy to believe but I suppose it is possible!
Keith Burton club has replied to Andy Rodker clubI'm ashamed to say that despite the fact I have family in Devon which isn't a million miles from Cornwall, the only time I've been there was in the late 70's for a camping trip with the family. I really must make the effort to get there before I get too much older..!!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubI really don't know Yorkshire nor Durham, nor Northumbria nor Edinburgh. There are also so many parts of the South of England I don't know either!
I am based in Madrid and not getting any younger. My wish list of places to visit is fast becoming just that!
