Es war noch eine Zeit, da wurde ich als Tourist, noch als etwas besonderes Betrachtet.
Hotels gab es kaum in Beruwala, und wer dort Ferien verbrachte, wollte nicht in die Ortschaft um sich mit den Menschen zu Treffen. Und die Positiven wie sehr oft auch negativen Gerüche wahrzunehmen.
Man hatte noch gegenseitigen Respekt, und die nötige Achtung voneinander.

There was still a time when I was considered a special tourist as a tourist.
There were hardly any hotels in Beruwala, and those who spent their holidays there didn't want to go to the village to meet the people. And to perceive the positive as well as very often negative smells.
There was still mutual respect and the necessary respect for one another.
