The station took its name from the King's Cross building, a monument to King George IV that stood in the area and was demolished in 1845.

A fine photo of the type I like to see. I wonder what these trains are -they look a bit like Class 802's to me but then, I am no expert. Wrong station for the Eurostars :) Well done.

Buen encuadre de la foto. Me pregunto si los poderosos topes para detener el tren tienen algún otro sistema electrónico para detenerlo, no creo que sea solo por choque. Los pies verticales (color negro) que están en los centros de los topes tienen aparatos para algo.
