Glen Roy, Scotland

Glen Roy, Scotland
Glen Roy is famous for its "parallel roads", not actual roads, but a glacial feature, formed when glaciers damned a glacial lake in this valley. Charles Darwin visited this place, an theorised that they were raised shorelines made by the sea. When Darwin was proved wrong, he refused to accept the glacier theory for twenty years.
