The Candlestick

Last spring, on our way to Texas and Big Bend National Park, my wife and I spent a few days in Canyonlands National Park in Utah. We plan to be pack there in early May with our oldest daughter to do some hiking and backpacking there. This photo was taken in the northern part of the park, the Island in the Sky district, and is of a formation known as the Candlestick.
