Scenic, South Dakota
This building in the ghost town of Scenic, South Dakota, has half a sign for a church and another sign for the Merrill Museum of Natural History, neither of which appeared to mark something still in operation. We visited Scenic several times on our way to the Badlands of South Dakota. The two lies between Rapid City and the park.

Nice find! South Dakota has so much to see! I wonder if they ever finished the Crazy Horse Memorial. It´s been quite some time since I was there. They´ve been working on it for ages and ran out of money as far as I know.

The memorial is far from finished, Stephan, and I wonder if it ever will be. They are always short of money but refuse to take federal funds and rely on admissions and private donations.
