Hog Lake

Hog Lake
Our daughter from Belfast was visiting recently and we and other family members went hiking at Hog Lake, one of the long narrow lakes in our area. This is the lake from the north end near Hog Canyon Falls. These long narrow lakes are typical of the "channeled scablands." The first inset is of the falls which were dry, a disappointment to those family members who had not seen them. I've also included a photo taken in April when the falls were not dry.

Ryan Brookes, Marco F. Delminho, J. Gafarot, Petar Bojić and 24 other people have particularly liked this photo
