Along the Redwoods Highway
While in northern California we stayed in Crescent City but drove from there to the Redwoods in Jedediah Smith State Park and in Del Norte State Park. One of those days we drove south following the Redwoods Highway and though it was very foggy climbed above the fog at one point and stopped for these photos.

Thanks so much for your update, it's nice to hear that things are going well. Though you don't have a trip planned until late September, it's also nice to have some "chill" time and a lull to work on projects and pictures.
Can't believe some of the amazing things we've seen...my current picture still blows me away every time I see it!! Crazy thing is we've gotten to know what they sound like now, that's how "common" they are (not really but they do call a lot).
Checking in because I actually can...heh...the connection is likely to drop any second so I'm posting this now! *BIG HUGS*
Wish I could see and take the same views that you offer us.
Thank you Ron.
Wish you and yours a wonderful weekend.
