Mount Baker
This is Mount Baker from Artist's Point in the North Cascades. Mount Baker is an active volcano and the highest peak in the Cascades north of Mount Rainier. The insets show the area to the west of the peak and a closer view of the peak itself.

Outstanding set of pictures.
Enjoy the weekend fully, you deserve it:
LOL the fly in my picture was such a surprise--I'd cropped the picture and made my main image and didn't see it then. It was only when I decided to make the inset version that I saw it there...I laughed out loud, it was so funny that I didn't see it! I actually did a bit of work that I didn't mention. The fly was perfectly vertical and higher up on the image and wouldn't be in the picture unless I moved it or created a crop that wasn't balanced. So I decided it would be ok to move him and since I moved him, I put him at an angle too. :)
Wow Ron, you must be as wonderful in person as you are online because you are so popular with everyone! Your family, your friends, everyone wants to spend time with you and I think that is so cool! I'm a hermit. Always have been. My brothers love me but my oldest is too busy with his life to care about anything but himself (narcissist like my dad was), and my younger brother tends to be very needy, erratic and self-centered that I can't be around him too much (also a narcissist!)...and when my dad was alive...I moved up here to get some distance. So it's nice to see someone who's social and loved by all! :)
I was looking around on ipernity at one point and found your brother's photo stream. Very impressive! :) Sounds like someone who would be a lot of fun to hang out with! :)
I know what you mean about feeling "undressed" without your camera with you. When it's usually with you, it seems so strange when it's not there with you! It can be nice to leave it at home sometimes but I'd rather have it with me when I can! :)
I hope you are able to get home soon! :) After all, there are roads to shovel! :D :D
