Woolly Daisy
On our way to the trailhead for Wall Street Mill in Joshua Tree National Park, we stopped to photograph some wildflowers, these Woolly Daisies among them.

Well photographed.
Your beautiful photos show this, Ron!
I'm so happy you liked my fence and flower picture. I was very happy with how that turned out. As it happens, I got a whole set of apertures on that subject and all of them are crisp, so I could just decide what bokeh was "just right". If I hadn't been doing this for HFF, I would have picked an aperture with a bit more softness but not a lot. It was so nice to have the choice! Usually I pick a certain image because it's the only one that wasn't blurry or with an inappropriate dof. I don't know if you use aperture sets but that advice I followed from my husband has paid off handsomely through the years!
Flowers HERE? LOL just like you, ain't nuthin goin on round here at this time! The SF Bay Area is warm enough that flowers are happy to bloom in the dead of winter! Fun for any photographer all year around.
Flooding is ever so delightful, isn't it? And the puddle right where you step out of the car...oh man, we have them too. UGH!
We are also hoping for a break in the weather for the Blood Moon eclipse...looks like the chance of rain is about 30% so we're keeping our fingers crossed!!
Die Sehnsucht nach dem Frühling wächst.
Freundliche Grüße und ein schönes Wochenende
Erich
