Yellow Lady's Slipper
This would probably be classified as Cypripedium parviflorum var. makasin, the Small Northern Yellow Lady's Slipper, but it is very doubtful that any of the flowers we saw at this location were pure species. These Yellow Lady's Slippers were growing in and among Mountain Lady's Slippers, Cypripedium montanum, shown in the second photo below, and there were flowers that were obviously natural hybrids of the two species, Cypripedium xcolumbianum, shown in the first photo below.
