Dendrobium masarangense var. masarangense

This orchid is just a little tuft of plant with tiny flowers, the plant two inches tall (6 cm) and the flowers three quarters of an inch (2 cm). It belongs to the Oxyglossum group of Dendrobiums and is supposed to be tolerant of warmer temperatures since it is found from low to high elevations. It is from Salawesi, New Guinea, New Britain, Bougainville, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Fiji.
