Howdy Doody

It must be quite the assortment of characters in there. It's the only dedicated bar building in town. There are, I think, 2 more attached to restaurants. Big change from my childhood, when one whole side of Main St. was lined with saloons and our mothers told us to walk on the other side of the street so as not to be exposed to terrible sights and sounds. We did sneak over to that side on occasion to smell the forbidden odor of cigarette smoke and liquor and hear men swearing loudly. Thank you, John!
