Thank you, Marj. Locking the school is a great idea. I think that's done in some school districts, but probably not in most. Some have guards, some have a police officer on duty. This school had a policeman in the school that day (!), but it did not matter - because of the kind of weapon he had, the killer was able to shoot many people before he escaped the school.

Sickening...yes, I hope this is the start of a big protest movement. I think it will be more effective than the rather measured demands of parents in the past. It needs public outrage on a large scale.

I heard the speech, it needs more such brave people to stop these crazy NRA and Trump idiots.

I surely hope the direction from the young can be the start of breaking our seemingly long era of being stuck, not only on this but multiple other things.
