A classy pair of trainers ( "sneakers" in your language?) , and moss is always a pleasure.

Makes for a very good composition.
Didn't Nike start calling their sneakers trainers at one point? Possibly the only case of a British English word being adopted in American English, rather than the other way round).

Some brands have "Cross-trainers," which I guess means you can do all kinds of things in them instead of just one thing. You can walk, run, jump, skid, stop, skip, ride a bike, play basketball, jump-rope, camp, shop, eat, drive and sleep in them. That's just a partial list. But, no, we don't call them trainers as a matter of course. Here is Nike's full range of what they call "Training shoes," inexplicably, not trainers. store.nike.com/us/en_us/pw/mens-gym-training-shoes/7puZ9hkZoi3

P.S. I just wear my slippers for everything.
