Sheep and the City
➽ Seit 2017 grasen auf der Wiese zwischen City Galerie und Textilmuseum 20 Schafe. Es sind keine echten Tiere, sondern 20 Skulpturen aus Beton. Die Tiere sind Teil des Gestaltungsplans für das Textilviertel.
Sie sollen daran erinnern, dass genau an dieser Stelle zu Hochzeiten der Textilindustrie in Augsburg Schafwolle verarbeitet worden ist.

➽ 20 sheep have been grazing on the meadow between the City Gallery and the Textile Museum since 2017. They are not real animals, but 20 concrete sculptures. The animals are part of the design plan for the Textile district.
They are intended to remind you that it was precisely here that sheep wool was processed at the height of the textile industry in Augsburg.
