➽ Der Name für die Kirche geht auf die frühchristliche Missionarin Junia zurück und wurde von der Mehrheit der Gemeindemitglieder gewählt. Wahrscheinlich war Junia eine freigelassene jüdische Sklavin. Erwähnt ist sie im Römerbrief. Paulus erwähnt dort Andronicus und Junia als "angesehene Apostel". Quelle: Augsburg Wiki
