Easter greetings from Lladdwyn Island


A special scene here from this wonderful Welsh Island showing the old lighthouse and the plain memorial cross. The inscription reads: “Dwynwen“; “in the sixtieth year of Queen Victoria 1897“; “in memory of St Dwynwen Jan 25th 1465“; and, “erected by the Hon F G Wynn owner of the isle“. This is about 6mtrs high.
There is in fact another cross nearby too, that one being a Celtic memorial.
