Icy fingers

Icy fingers
A freezing day takes me out past a flowing brook (small river). Above the fast flowing water the overhanging grasses take on the ‘Devils’ fingers themselves. I was careful not to touch them for fear of my whole body also turning to ice!

Very well spotted Herb.............and your photo is brilliant. I love the idea of "devils' fingers".............which is very apt.

The light is lovely and the amount of detail you've captured in the ice (especially behind the fingers) is exceptional.

Definitely worth viewing large!!
