HWW ~ Between walls
Overnight snow and heavy fog tempts me a little higher above my hometown to this scene. A country lane here that is most pleasant in the summer is turned into something quite different for a vehicle. I was surprised to encounter the two other walkers and their dog who were making a far more serious hike in this weather than me. I had rather sensibly left my own car some few hundred metres on the cleared main road behind me.

Either that or stupid Patrick. In reality, there are some dwellings up here and so I supposed they lived there and was used to driving this road in all conditions. As for myself - just a photographer wanting some shots of the snow and trying to keep warm and safe.

I have mixed feelings as I get older Nick. I still love to see the snow and indeed walk through it especially with snow bedecked trees but I don't like the cold -at least my fingers don't! Still icy snow around here. I was going to go out again this morning after spotting a slightly less cloud and then it all went dull again.

I was actually referring to the two real walls of stone but some might say walls of snow too. I have heard of a wall of fog when suddenly you go into it or see it as on the sea.

Thanks Peter. No we have only to guess why he was there. I think there were two in there. Either excellent snow tyres or/and a 4x wheel drive. There was at least one more farm bulding up here so you may well be right. We had just passed some newly fed cattle.
