HBM ~ A life on the River Danube in Budapest

Life on board, atop our river cruise: the Tui Isla. This is quite a long ship and we are about half way along the top. No swimming pools on these floating pleasure hotels but a lot of seats with some game area’s too. Sitting here, it would not be long before a waiter would ask if you required refreshments. When sailing under some of the lower bridges, these canopies would be collapsed, as well as the bridge/wheelhouse section.

Nice to see you again Daniela. I hope you are well. It seems a long time since you last put anything on Ipernity. Budapest was lovely and we had the pleasure of two quick visits here. The Cruise was from and to Budapest via Bratislava, Linz and Vienna. Very nice it was too.

Thanks Pete. Yes it was never crowded up here, even in the warm sunshine. There was another outside sitting area, a little lower at the bow too. A far cry from railway footplates.
