HFF ~ Meall Liath from Loch Tay
Our first walk of our new Scottish holiday at the village of Killin in Perthshire starts with some fine weather. We are walking along the River Dochard here and beyond the fence we think we are seeing Meall Liath although it might be part of Beinn Ghlas.

In that sense we did go out most days for a walk, with the exception of the Eilean Donan castle which was pure sightseeing. We did not pay the exorbitant prices to join the absolute mad throngs of people already in the grounds and building. This was taken on one of the few times of blue sky for an hour or so. Most of our walking was local short 2-5miles in mostly poor weather.
