Another blast from the past with this monochrome. Taken in the coastal village of Aldeburgh in Suffolk some time ago. Of course you can see why I liked this at the time with those shadows.

Wow.........what a usual structure! The spiral staircase on the outside looks fantastic, and its shadow makes the whole thing look almost like a double helix!

Beautifully detailed with great light and a dramatic sky too. Perfectly suited to black and white.

Great that you have enjoyed this one Keith. Yes, I saw the double helix from the start too but resisted the temptation to name it such. The mono helped the sky here too.
