The Stags of Broadhaven and Benween Head

The Stags of Broadhaven and Benween Head
We are getting to our northern end of The Children of Lir Loop walk now with evermore closer looks at the Stags. We have now co-joined another bigger loop walk called the Portacloy Cliff walk. Benween Head is the headland we see here on the right.

Nice full size.

That's quite a coast! Glad you managed to capture some of those elusive sheep too, Herb.

This is a really dramatic piece of coastline Herb............and the huge cliffs really dominate the shot. The jagged rocks in the distance balance the frame very nicely. The sheep make some good foreground interest. Very well captured in somewhat gloomy conditions.

Glad you are enjoying my walks over here Keith. they show us something different from the normal, Cornish, Devon and Pembrokeshire rocky coastlines. As you say and I quite agree, the sheep gives us a bit of life here,. Considering the weather I can be quite pleased with these.
Keep cool. Herb

I like both shots very much Herb. This has the added interest of the two sheep. Again, it does remind me of where I stayed on the Devon/Cornwall border last year. I like the weather conditions, which give a very atmospheric picture.
All the best, Rosa.

Aye, as I said to Keith above, something slightly different from Cornwall, Devon and Pembrokeshire but still part of our British Isles for sure. The wather works for me here :)

Cheers and keep cool, Herb

Awe, GE spoils the mystery somewhat Gordon. Nowhere is sacred nor unique anymore but, all the same I am glad you accompanied me here with these shots.
