The harbour – St Ives

Always a good spot for a picture or two Herb ~ HBM

It was a nice spot but we literally only had a couple of hours here, walking down from that funny top packed car park near the lookout. I did like the pier and hope to post more from that. It was a damp cold day but the town was still full of tourist. I have an old photo somewhere of a previous visit which demonstrates the famous St Ives light, but not on this trip.

A great place for sure, especially if you have a place to stay. It was cool and damp whilst we were here though. The famous lighting did now show either but... still enjoyed our time there.

NIcely composed Herb..............it's really suited to the portrait orientation. I love the look of the old harbour wall........and the arches.

I also like the muted colours...............this has a painterly feel to it.
