Point Lynas Lighthouse

Point Lynas Lighthouse
Sitting on a point of land about three miles east of Almwch on the Isle of Anglesey. A pilot station was established on the point in 1766 to guide ships entering and leaving Liverpool, with an associated lighthouse added in 1836. It is still in use with its reflector seen here behind the circular windows.
We picnicked just near this spot where looking up you also see the small coastguard hut. The PiPs shows the view from here back to the mainland and the Snowdonia mountain range, and I also show a snap of the playful dolphin from this very same spot, captured whilst we ate.

Enjoy full screen.

Well blow me down mate. I shall book my room then. Would be great to stop in a greenhouse itself. Glad this rekindled memories.

Keep safe. Herb
