Saddleworth -Post Lockdown

Saddleworth -Post Lockdown
Some three months after the imposition of lock-down here in England, we are once again allowed to venture a little further in our cars as the restrictions are eased slightly. So here I am in my local walking area of Dovestone Reservoir again.- Its a very miserable and wet day and after days of torrential rainfall all the streams are in flood as can be seen. This area and valley is actually at the end of Greenfield Reservoir.

Almost correct Jose but you surely see the man-made dry-stone walls dissecting the photo! Very happy that you like this one. No contractions, as you say though.

Nice to see you again Colin. Hope you are doing fine. Yes, back to our normal weather again after that long dry-spell. The reservoirs below me here were all full again as the last time I passed this way in March they were well down.

Keep safe. Herb

The miserable wet day makes a very atmospheric picture here Herb. The water looks beautiful snaking through the moor, and the touch of rust colour adds to it! Cheers, Rosa.

Hi Herb

A very nice picture, in which the dirty brown flood water says it all..

No crystal mountain stream here!!

Best Wishes, and stay safe!!
